Dashes

Dashes set was created with the belief that everyday objects should be created in dialogue with the reality so they do not repeat existing forms but define new ones. The project is the result of continuous observation people in their homes. This minimalistic furniture is characterized by light and fresh form and provides an added value to functionality and comfort.

Dashes won the first prize in the fifth edition of the Young to start competition organized by Elle Decoration Poland and was one of the best Make me! 2016 competition projects.

The side table can be slid under a sofa or a bed so a cup of coffee or a book can be put aside comfortably. The table top has a hole that can be used for easier carrying and helps to keep all the cables in order.

The trestle was inspired by the habit of hanging up semi dirty clothes. It is universal piece of furniture which works all around the home.

The design process consisted of searching for lightness and visual order as well as finding maximum functionality within minimalistic but still attractive form.
